Doug Green founded the Bradam Group in 2003 after a long career spanning engineering, marketing, and venture capital.  Doug served as the VP of marketing at two start-up companies, Chromatis Networks and Ocular Networks, which were acquired for a total of over $5 billion.  He also served as a Director of Product Marketing at Ciena Communications, now a NASDAQ listed company,  and the Director of Product Marketing at NetEdge Systems, a telecommunications start-up acquired for $35M.   After his start-up career and prior to founding the Bradam Group, Mr. Green worked for Globespan Capital Partners as an entrepreneur in

residence. In addition to his consulting work, Doug also serves as an adjunct professor for entrepreneurship and marketing at Duke University.   He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Auburn University with a BS in electrical engineering in1981 and graduated from the Executive MBA program at Duke University as Fuqua Scholar in the class of 1987.  Prior to his first start-up company, Doug worked for 12 years as an engineer and manager in research and development in IBMs networking division.

In choosing a name for his consulting firm, Doug wanted a name that would be unique, professional, and memorable.  After a prolonged search, he settled on The Bradam Group.  It is a complete coincidence that the names of his two sons are Brad and Adam.
